BU X AGORA DESIGN MAT PROJECT 2025 Sparks Creative Recycling Ideas, Shaping the Next Generation of Designers 

 

School of Fine and Applied Arts collaborated with the Agora Design Mat brand to organize the BU X AGORA DESIGN MAT PROJECT 2025. The event featured an educational lecture outside the classroom, offering students hands-on learning experiences. It was honored by the presence of Khun Nontikan Asarasakorn, Marketing Manager of Agora Design Mat, who shared insights into branding and the design of lifestyle products made from recycled plastic mats. A real-world design brief was also assigned to students enrolled in the course PSE 222: Lifestyle Product Design in Everyday Life to participate in a design competition.

 

 

Congratulations to the award-winning students! 

 

 

First Prize: Ms. Jinjuta  Phetchan, a student in the Art and Design Program, Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts — awarded a 6,000 THB scholarship. 

 

 

Second Prize: Ms. Panida  Sae Lee, a student in the Art and Design Program, Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts — awarded a 4,000 THB scholarship.

 

 

Third Prize (tie): Mr. Phongsakorn  Onsamlue, a student in the Art and Design Program, Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts — awarded a 3,000 THB scholarship.

 

 

Third Prize (tie): Ms. Thanaporn  Akrameethawee, a student in the Art and Design Program, Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts — awarded a 3,000 THB scholarship.

 

 

This activity was organized to give students the opportunity to present their creative works to the public and to support experiential learning through collaboration with external organizations specializing in various fields. The event was supervised by Asst. Prof.Tan  Pitiyanuwat to help enhance the knowledge and capabilities of the students.
