Bangkok University Chinese International Organizes "Upskill to Uplift: Day of Growth and Honor"

Bangkok University Chinese International organized its annual event "Upskill to Uplift: Day of Growth and Honor" to recognize and honor the outgoing Student Committee while promoting essential skills for 21st-century work.

Bangkok University Chinese International recognizes the importance of holistic student development, particularly soft skills that are crucial in the modern workplace, such as teamwork, unity, creativity, project management, and budget management. The college has therefore established a Student Committee system to serve as a platform for promoting and developing students' potential, preparing them to confidently face workplace challenges.

The annual "Upskill to Uplift: Day of Growth and Honor" event comprises several key activities. It begins with a certificate and pin presentation ceremony for the Student Committee members, which serves as a symbol of pride in their leadership roles and raises awareness of the importance of participation in student affairs.

Additionally, the event includes a financial management workshop—a crucial skill that has gained attention from government agencies, especially for fourth-year students who are about to enter the workforce, as preparation before graduation.

This program not only enhances skills (Upskill) in alignment with educational quality standards at both AUN-QA and EdPEx levels, but also instills a sense of responsibility, leadership, and constructive social participation among students from both programs. The event also includes pre-graduation alumni data collection, which is an important component of continuous educational quality improvement.
