BUBAS Team Clinches Championship with Divine Skills in The Formosa Invitation 2024

Congratulations to the Basketball Club, BUBAS team of Bangkok University, for winning first place in "The Formosa Invitation 2024-NTUS International Women's University Basketball Tournament 2".

 

Congratulations to the Basketball Club, BUBAS team of Bangkok University, for winning first place in "The Formosa Invitation 2024-NTUS International Women's University Basketball Tournament 2". They were invited by the National Taiwan University of Sport to participate in the event held from August 28-31, 2024, in Taichung City, Taiwan, with budget support from the Dr. Supong Limtanakool Executive Vice President for External Affairs.

 

 

Practice is the Profit of Victory

"For this competition, we had over a month to prepare. In the final week, we increased our practice frequency. Normally, we practice twice a week, but close to the competition, we increased it to 3 days a week, 6-8 hours per day. This was to improve accuracy and agility, enhance skills, and get our bodies accustomed to the excitement of competition and on-the-spot problem-solving in game situations. Importantly, intense practice helped us understand each other's rhythms and improve our teamwork."

 

 

BUBAS: This Lovable Team

"For the BUBAS team, we are more than just a team, we are a family that loves each other. This is our strength. These factors result in high mutual trust when we play. We believe and are confident that every pass we make, whoever scores, it's as if everyone scores. Whether we win or lose, no one stands out above the others."

"We would like to thank our kind benefactor, Dr. Supong Limthanakit, Senior Vice President for Special Affairs, who supported us with the opportunity to participate in this competition. It's considered a chance to learn skills from opponents who aren't just Thai, to gain friendship through sports across different cultures. We also want to thank our lovely coach, Ajarn Sittipong Premprapan, who taught us to play the game happily and taught us sportsmanship both within our team and with other teams. These values have been passed down from seniors to our generation with love and warmth like a family."
