Turning Waste into Value: Behind Things - Where Does Trash Go? Opening the World of Creative Recycling

Scholarship students focused on social and environmental leadership have organized the "Behind Things - Where Does Trash Go?" project. This initiative aims to highlight the benefits and value of waste through creative media campaigns, both onsite and online, designed to capture students' interest and make the project accessible. The content focuses on the potential uses of different types of waste, demonstrating how proper waste management can positively impact the world and society. The project also provides hands-on activities for students to transform waste into useful items or products, organizes volunteer booths inviting students to participate in activities that transfer beneficial waste to relevant organizations, and offers creative educational media including posters and photographs presented as a mini-exhibition. The project will run from March to May 2025.

The event features activities exploring "The Value of Waste"
Workshop Zone: Free DIY sewing and embroidery with old clothes, paper recycling workshops that are good for both heart and planet, and transforming used straws into lucky keychains

Volunteers Zone invites you to create bricks from waste to build walls for communities in remote areas (ECO BRICKS) and to separate bottle cap colors for donation to Precious Plastic Bangkok. The organization will recycle the plastic by shredding and melting it into products such as plant pots, coasters, chairs, and more, to generate sustainable income for the community.

Exhibition Zone: A showcase of works from Precious Plastic Bangkok, where plastic is recycled and upcycled to increase its value.
