Bangkok University Offers Super Tech Talent and Tech Talent Scholarships for Creative Students to Drive the IT Industry
Bangkok University has awarded the Super Tech Talent and Tech Talent scholarships, along with free accommodation for one year at DoBeDo Student Residence, to high school graduates (Grade 12) with a passion for technology and innovative ideas. Recognizing the critical need for skilled tech professionals in Thailand's labor market, the University aims to develop talent in this high-demand field. Scholarship recipients will study in the School of Information Technology and Innovation and the School of Engineeringat Bangkok University.
The Super Tech Talent Scholarship is designed for true tech enthusiasts—students who love hands-on projects, have outstanding IT portfolios, and demonstrate a clear passion for cutting-edge technology. The scholarship covers 100% of tuition fees, provides a monthly stipend of 12,000 THB, and includes free accommodation for one year at DoBeDo Student Residence, courtesy of Zipcode Developer. The residence, fully furnished and located on campus, offers 24-hour access, ensuring convenience for both studies and daily life.
Meanwhile, the Tech Talent Scholarship supports tech-savvy students with innovative ideas, project experience, or participation in skill-development programs. Recipients must be analytical, adaptable to evolving technologies, and ready to build their portfolios. This scholarship also covers 100% of tuition fees and includes free accommodation for one year at DoBeDo Student Residence, sponsored by Zipcode Developer.
At the award ceremony, Professor Thanat Kitjacharoen, Advisor to the President for Information Technology at Bangkok University, presented the scholarships and emphasized the importance of nurturing tech talent: “All these students have a strong passion for technology and have demonstrated their potential. Bangkok University will support them academically and through partnerships. I encourage them to make the most of this opportunity, enjoy their journey, and aim to make a name for themselves and the university. This scholarship addresses industry demand for graduates who are job-ready. These students have both passion and creativity—they can pursue their interests and maximize their potential over the next four years at Bangkok University.”
Asst. Prof.Dr.Lugkana Worasinchai, Vice President for Business Development at Bangkok University, added, "Congratulations to all 13 scholarship recipients. This program attracted over 400 applicants nationwide, seeking Grade 12 students with exceptional talent and interest in technology. Over the next four years, I hope they will build on their passions, enjoy learning, and turn their ideas into reality."

Mr. Panitipong Chooprasertchok (Bung), a Computer Science student specializing in Data Science and Cybersecurity, said: "This scholarship is not just financial support—it allows me to focus entirely on learning and developing my skills without worrying about expenses. I can dedicate my time to creating meaningful projects and building a strong foundation for my future."
Mr. Athipphuwat Ruangsa (Luf), an Engineering student majoring in Computer Engineering and Robotics, added, "This opportunity lets me explore new knowledge and expand my skills. Bangkok University doesn’t just offer classroom learning—it encourages us to pursue our interests beyond academics, giving us the freedom to grow."
