BUSEM Students Win Global Sustainable Business Award

Congratulations to Hush Husk Team, a collaboration of students from the School of Entrepreneurship and Management (BUSEM) from both International and Thai programs, who won the 3rd place in the global business plan competition "2025 The Babson Collaborative Global Student Challenge" competing against 852 teams from 27 leading universities worldwide.

Hush Husk Team achieved success with their innovative and environmentally friendly business idea: "Natural Air Purifier Made from Rice Husks," which can be recycled into air filter sheets that absorb unpleasant odors, reduce pollution, and are environmentally friendly. This innovation not only helps solve air quality problems but also creatively utilizes agricultural waste, reflecting circular economy concepts that address the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

International Program - Miss Supavadee Pukhongnin the 1st year Entrepreneurship student
Supervised by Dr.Muanfhun Ratanavanich, School member of BUSEM, as the main advisor along with the teaching team providing guidance throughout the competition.
Besides Hush Husk Team's award, another BUSEM team reached the final 14 teams: Eco Junk Corp Team with their innovation "Transforming Old Tires into Safety Boots."

Eco Junk Corp Team developed expired car tires into Safety Boots for construction work, which not only enhances worker safety but also reduces
hard-to-decompose rubber waste and eliminates breeding grounds for Aedes mosquitoes that carry dengue and Zika viruses.

"2025 The Babson Collaborative Global Student Challenge" is a business plan competition among universities collaborating with Babson College, the world's #1 university in Entrepreneurship. This year featured 3,230 students from 852 teams from 27 universities in 21 countries worldwide, focusing on creating business plans aligned with the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
