BU International Partners with OCIIO Drinking Water Brand to Create Platform Showcasing Student Potential

Bangkok University's International College, Creative Communication Design (CCD) program, has joined forces with Thai drinking water brand "OCIIO" - a drinking water that uses nano-bubble innovation from Japan - to create a collaborative project under the ICD171 Digital Image Design course. This initiative aims to provide students opportunities to showcase their creativity and gain real industry experience, taught by instructors Ajarn Swiss, Ajarn Pornkanok and Ajarn Wonbusapa.

This collaborative project aims to bridge classroom learning with real-world design challenges. Students in the course developed design concepts by analyzing OCIIO's brand identity and core values through systematic design processes, from creating mood boards and developing creative concepts to presenting final works at the "OCIIO Midterm Showcase" to a 3-member judging panel, including OCIIO's CEO. The selected winning design was created by Mr. John Ro Jar, which distinctively conveyed inspiration from water droplets and oxygen bubbles with clean aesthetics that perfectly aligned with the brand's identity.

In addition to receiving prize money, Mr. John Ro Jar's work was selected for actual production as part of OCIIO's new water bottle collection, which is now available in the Thai market. This represents another success in elevating student work to professional level, reinforcing the mission of the Creative Communication Design program at International College, which aims to develop new generation designers with competitive potential in the creative industry, both nationally and internationally, through hands-on learning processes and collaboration with leading organizations.
