CDE Student from School of Communication Arts Wins Scriptwriting Championship from 'Play, Tell, Create Stories' Project Year 2

 

Congratulations to Ms.Sophita Saneewong Na Ayutthaya, student in the Creative Content Production and Digital Experience (CDE) program, School of Communication Arts, winner of the championship award for her work "From Dead to Alive" (Jak Khon Tai Su Khon Pen) in the 2nd year of the "Play, Tell, (Create) Stories" workshop project, organized by the Safe and Creative Media Development Fund in collaboration with TSA - Television Drama Writers Association of Thailand.

 

 

Ms. Sophita Saneewong Na Ayutthaya shared about receiving the award: "I'm very impressed with this project. It's an excellent project. I've never joined any project that impressed me as much as this one. I received a good community and good stories that gave me the fire to pass on my work so others can find inspiration and have more meaning in their lives, knowing who they are. I can guarantee that this project is an experience that if I hadn't come, I would have regretted it for the rest of my life."

 

 

At the event, Mr. Thoenphun Paensombat, Expert from the Safe and Creative Media Development Fund, presided over the ceremony, and Ms. Sontaya Suchada, Director of the Play Tell Create Stories curriculum, presented the awards.

 

 

The "Play Tell Create Stories" Year 2 project creates new generation thinkers and storytellers with over 60 participants nationwide, The scriptwriting competition on the theme "Small Stories that are Great in My Heart," emphasizing creative media creation from truth and experience, leading to the creation of short clips reflecting real life, whether about love, drama, or family relationships.

Exploring the Human-AI Balance and Launching a Groundbreaking New Program
Team Dreamteam, consisting of Mr. Thadapong Meksan, Mr. Pankarn Khumpong, Ms. Thitiya Sarnanet, and Ms. Nichapat Matcharas, students from the Communication and New Media (CNM) program, School of Communication Arts, created a stellar reputation on the national stage with their work "Mission to Save the Fairy SMOOTO." The team received an Honorable Mention award along with a 5,000 baht scholarship in the national viral advertising clip competition "X Campus Ads Idea Contest 2025" under the Digital Technology Demand Generation initiative. This project resulted from collaboration between the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society (MDES), the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI), and the Digital Users Association of Thailand (DUGA), in partnership with leading universities nationwide.
