Thailand's Soul Creates City Cultural Ambassadors to Promote Creative Tourism

21 students from the Airline Business Management Programsalong with Suthee Sertsri, Instructor from the Hotel Management, School of Humanities and Tourism Management, have been selected as Cultural Ambassadors of the City have been selected as 1 of 100 people out of over 500 applicants to serve as City Cultural Ambassadors in the Thailand's Soul: Creative & Cultural Tourism Development project under the theme Thailand in a Box. The project is organized by the Soft Power Subcommittee for Tourism and the Tourism Authority of Thailand to be part of creating and presenting new perspectives on Thai tourism.
Additionally, students and faculty from the School of Fine and Applied Arts are participating as designers, led by Asst. Prof.Dr.Khemmiga Teerapong from the Communication Design Department, to create works presenting each city's uniqueness through an artistic lens.

All participants joined the "THAILAND in a box" Workshop, working with designers and creative teams to develop concepts and products that reflect the identity and highlights of 10 pilot tourist cities: Nan, Lampang, Sukhothai, Chiang Rai, Samut Songkhram, Nakhon Phanom, Surin, Trang, Pattani, and Chanthaburi. The goal is to create products that clearly convey the identity and uniqueness of each city, driving Thailand's Soft Power through the Thailand in a box gift box.

Participating in this project not only promotes tourism but also provides opportunities to learn and develop essential skills for real-world work. It also creates networks with experts in the tourism and cultural industries, which will be highly beneficial for future career development.
