BU AIR Strengthens Professional DNA Through Learning Activities Toward Aviation Industry Career Paths

The Department of Airline Business Management, Faculty of Humanities and Tourism Management, moves forward in creating out-of-classroom learning experiences in partnership with aviation industry allies through 2 key activities: "BU Air DNA Freshy Day" for The first-year students and "BU AIR AVIATION WEEK 2025" for the second and third-year students. The goal is to develop skills, prepare readiness, and ignite inspiration for careers in the airline business, reflecting BU AIR's commitment to developing students with knowledge, skills, and service spirit, ready to confidently enter aviation careers in a rapidly changing world.
BU Air DNA Freshy Day

The first activity was organized to open experiential learning opportunities outside the classroom for the first-year students, aimed at laying foundational understanding, preparing readiness, and sparking inspiration for careers in the aviation industry.

The activity began with a TED Talk by executives from Thai AirAsia X sharing real-world experience while diving deep into essential aviation service skills or Aviation Soft Skills, including cross-cultural communication, crisis management, and creating memorable impressions at every service touchpoint. Students had the opportunity to assess their potential through Soft Skills Mapping activities and receive personalized guidance for targeted development.

This was followed by the BU Air Memorable Flight activity, learning through real situation simulation called BU Air Self-Finder to enhance Cross-Personality Communication skills, which are essential for working with diverse teams.

The "Flight of Goodwill" activity allowed students to pass on positive energy through inspirational messages on paper airplanes, concluding with reflection on experiences gained from activities by student representatives.

BU AIR AVIATION WEEK 2025

Simultaneously, the department proceeded with BU AIR AVIATION WEEK 2025 to prepare the second and the third-year students. The faculty team provided in-depth information on academic planning for core subjects linked to real industry needs, as well as systematic internship preparation guidance, from organization selection and application techniques to essential work skills in aviation contexts.

This platform also opened opportunities for students to exchange suggestions closely with professors for directional career planning, reflecting the department's intention to develop students into "BU AIR People" ready to handle future changes in the aviation industry.
This memory not only creates inspiration but also serves as an important milestone in shaping the identity of new generation aviation business professionals "BU AIR – Where Professionalism Takes Flight"
