Bangkok University Organizes Business and Academic Seminar

In an era of rapid global change, the relationship between Thailand and the People's Republic of China is no longer just about trade or cultural exchange as in the past, but has evolved into a strategic relationship. Along with increasingly complex social changes that require deep understanding, Bangkok University Chinese International organized the "China-Thailand Dialogues" seminar under the theme "Understanding China, Understanding the Game: What New Generation Uses to Compete" at the MHESI Fair 2025 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, Room MR 211 AB (Theater).

This important seminar used the concept of comparing Thai-Chinese business to a grandmaster-level chess board, full of professional players, strategies, and complex tactics. It brought together "Grandmaster" with experience and success at the Asian level to reveal techniques and "Secret Codes of Success" to "New Generation Players" ready to enter the Thai-Chinese business arena. Participants gained understanding of the 3 dimensions they need to master (The 3 Dimensions of the Game), which are key to understanding and adapting to these changes: social transformation dimension, economic dimension, and educational dimension.

The special highlight of this event was an exclusive seminar stage featuring top-level masters, opened by K. Wichai Mongkolchaichawan, Vice Chairman of the Thai-Chinese Chamber of Commerce, an expert in Thai-Chinese trade, sharing knowledge and experience on "Direction and Trends of China-Thailand Trade in the New Era: Golden Opportunities in Health Industry and Technology," along with sharing perspectives and visions on the direction and trends of China-Thailand trade in the new era.

K. Wichai stated, "The world has changed through technology, causing the environment, trade, and living conditions to change. What's important is that Thailand must keep up with new trends and be ready to adapt to the new economy. From now on, China is not just a trading partner but a Strategic Partner that must jointly create and share benefits." He also highlighted opportunities in future industries such as the holistic health industry and high-low level economics, both of which have high economic potential and sustainable cooperation between Thailand and China.

This was followed by a stage of expert businesspeople who have succeeded in doing business with China, sharing experiences, insights, and exchanging stories from the Thai-Chinese business world and education sector. Led by Dr.Nithivadee Chanyaswad Dean, Bangkok University Chinese International and Chairperson, Bachelor of Business Administration Program in International Business Management (Chinese Business), Dr. Orasa Horrattanaruang, Chief Operating Officer, Innovation and Cooperation Office, CAS Innovation Cooperation Center (Bangkok), K.Namporn Kietthanakorn, Executive Director at I Plus Q Company Limited, recipient of the PM Export Award, and K.Chanintorn Pitakwararat, Chinese language instructor for K.Ice in the popular series " Mad Unicorn " and owner of TikTok channel: Attention Chinese. All four shared their perspectives and experiences on "Opening Game Strategy: The Most Important Thing Thai Players Must Move Forward with Today."

Dr.Nithivadee said, "Today's Thai-Chinese business is no longer chess from old textbooks. We must read the new game to keep up with the entire board. It's not about memorizing old rules, but analyzing situations. We don't see China as a competitor, but open our minds to learn, because in this game, every piece has its own role. The goal is not one-sided victory, but creating a Win-Win together. The Chinese business language curriculum at Bangkok University is the same - we don't stand still. We focus on intensive teaching of trade culture, more than 45 hours per semester, so students deeply understand the Chinese mindset. Therefore, learning Chinese language and culture is the 'First Key' that opens the door to a new world. But that's not enough. We must supplement it with business knowledge, combining into a 'Triangular DNA' that will create the strongest new generation of business people."

The event concluded with a special exchange stage of new generation youth who have proven that success doesn't wait for age, led by K.Sangthian Chuchawalayanggoon founder of DGY Agency, K.Natcha Punyathanasup owner of Nuttybox business and alumna of the School of Entrepreneurship and Business Administration (BUSEM); and K.Withit Isariya, a 3rd year student in International Business Management (Chinese Business) exchanging business, perspectives, creative ideas, and future visions, along with Future Map activities - learning exchange activities. After listening to the seminar, participants will have survival methods or ways to make moves in their own style, facilitated by K. Krit Jenpanichkarn and Ajarn Prapatsorn Nikornsawat, School member of Bangkok University Chinese International

This China-Thailand Dialogues event reflects the excellence and expertise of China International College, Bangkok University, both in Chinese business language education and building Thai-Chinese relationships. It serves as another important platform for exchanging knowledge and perspectives from experts on business and education issues, while moving forward to drive the development of youth and new generation entrepreneurs through learning from Thai-Chinese economic directions amid the challenges of changing business environments, enabling the new generation to become "owners of the thought stage" and truly create new things and future planning in changing contexts.
