BU Game On! Expo x Job Fair for Game Industry 2025

Bangkok University has organized the "BU Game On! Expo x Job Fair for Game Industry 2025" to promote the potential of students in Game and Interactive Media programs. The event provides opportunities for students to gain real-world experience from industry experts and, importantly, features a Job Fair to welcome students into the rapidly growing game industry.


A Gaming Festival That's More Than Just an Exhibition—It's About Creating Opportunities
Dr.Thirapon Wongsaardsakul, Assistant to the President for Academic Affairs together with Dr.Pakapan Limtrairut, Dean, School of Information Technology and Innovation, officially opened the event at Diamond Hall, 5th Floor, Building A3. The opening highlight featured K.Puree Osathanugrah presenting the game "Blast Blade" from Silent Bark Games.


This event is not just an ordinary exhibition but serves as a bridge between the classroom and the real world of the game industry. It showcases over 50 student projects based on real challenges from the industry, with opportunities for commercial development.

The event kicked off with a workshop by K.Thanut Panichyotai titled "Game x AI: Unlocking the Creative Power of Thai Developers in the New Era," diving deep into trends and the revolutionary role of AI in the gaming industry. This was followed by a Blast Blade gaming competition that gave participants real-time experience, led by K.Puree Osathanugrah.


Master Class Panel Discussion from Industry Experts
A highlight of the event was the panel discussion "Level Up Your Game: From Project to Real Product," featuring leading industry experts including:
K. Nattachai Numpacharoen from Garena Online (Thailand),
K.Kachain Buddhi Warawut from FairPlay Studios, K.Nontawat Thanakiatkrai from Vermillion Digital, Khun Wattanachai Tridesha, President of the Thai Board Game Association, and A. Maythee Chauypoo, CEO of Bugblio.


Distinguished alumni K. Nakarin Yimcharoenand and K. Natchaphon Sirisangsawang also shared their real-world field experiences. Additionally, special workshops "Behind the Code" and "Optimize Your Game" were conducted by Fairplay Studios.



3 Game Zones + 50 Projects Offering Comprehensive Experience
The exhibition area is divided into 3 main zones equipped with computers, TVs, and VR:
- Industrial Innovation Projects Showcase - Projects from real industry challenges by 4th-year students
- BU Game On! - Games incubated from Season 1 and 2
- Rising Star - Outstanding works from 1st-3rd year students



A Mini Job Fair featured 14 leading game and technology companies recruiting on-site, allowing students to apply with their portfolios and resumes immediately.
Special Project: "Ritdet Hanuman" Continuing the Royal Legacy
Another proud highlight is the interactive work titled "Ritdet Hanuman - Continuing the Royal Legacy of Thai Khon," which uses 3D Scan and Motion Capture techniques to commemorate Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother.



Judging by Industry Experts
The event concluded with game judging by recognized experts, led by K.Kittipong Pruksaaroon, President of the Thai Game Software Industry Association (TGA), K. Nattachai Numpacharoen, Strategy Team Lead at Garena Online (Thailand), K. Kumpharit Puttipinyo, General Manager & Co-Founder of Game Dev Hub Ltd, K.Nontawat Thanakiatkrai, Managing Director of Vermillion Digital Co., Ltd. and K. Photasan Ngampongsai, Senior Game Developer at Extend Interactive Co., Ltd. They evaluated 40 projects based on real industry challenges.
The event received support from leading partners including Garena, Infold Pte. Ltd, Taokaenoi, Fairplay Studio, Vermillion Digital, Bugblio Studio, D Buzz, BOTNOI GROUP, Finansia Syrus Securities Public Company Limited, and the Princess Chulabhorn Centre of Medical and Public Health Emergency Operations.



This project aims to create more than just inspiration—it provides tangible opportunities for job searching, networking, and enhancing Thai students' capabilities to compete in the global gaming market, contributing to the nation's creative economy development.
