Awakening the Power of Young Generations: Innovative Financial Clip Wins Top Prize at Campaign on Campus

"What if we start investing today to ensure we won't worry about money in the future?" This thought-provoking question marked the beginning of the "Campaign on Campus" project, organized by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The initiative aimed to provide financial and investment knowledge to students while offering an opportunity to create video clips under the theme "DNA of Financial Matters" - designed to disseminate knowledge in an easy-to-understand and engaging format for the younger generation.

The project received tremendous response from students across various institutions, who submitted short clips communicating financial knowledge in creative and accessible ways. The top prize went to the project " Financial Life Agenda" by Group A team from Bangkok University, along with a scholarship of 30,000 baht.

Young Generation's Growing Interest in Investment
Investment interest among young people is no longer a distant concept. Many are preparing for their financial future, especially by seizing learning opportunities like investment seminars. The Faculty of Entrepreneurship and Business Management at Bangkok University invited renowned investors and police officers to provide insights about scammers in the investment world."Previously, our team faced investment challenges due to insufficient knowledge. However, after attending this lecture and seminar, the knowledge we gained has significantly increased our confidence in starting investments and planning appropriately for ourselves," the team shared.

Creating Accessible Short Clips in a Young Style
After the investment training, the SEC organized a short clip competition allowing participants to share their acquired knowledge. The goal was to create clips that are easy to understand and relatable to young people's daily lives."Our team presented three crucial elements for starting investments: principal, time, and returns - which are the core DNA that helps investors effectively manage their financial matters," they explained.

3 Key Investment Elements: Principal, Time, Returns
The winning team prioritized creating an easily comprehensible and concise clip. They decoded financial complexity by presenting a creative, near-life storytelling approach using three characters debating their own importance before gradually dissolving. "We presented a story from our team members' real experiences of desiring greater financial freedom but unsure where to start. By summarizing the critical principle to always remember - 'principal', 'time', and 'returns' - we showed that anyone understanding and adhering to these three words can achieve financial success. Additionally, we included important information at the clip's end for further understanding."

Start Investing Today for a Secure Future
The Campaign on Campus serves as an excellent example of encouraging young people to engage with finance and investment. By utilizing easily accessible online platforms like TikTok, the project aims to create knowledge and stimulate thinking about future financial management "We want everyone to understand that investing isn't difficult with proper knowledge and planning. Starting to invest today can create financial stability for the future," the team emphasized.
