School of Humanities and Tourism Management Celebrates 44th Anniversary Homecoming Event, Bridging Generations with Warmth

School of Humanities and Tourism Management organized a special event "HU to HTM Together Forever: Miss You So Much, Let's Meet Up!" to celebrate the 44th anniversary of the faculty's establishment, fostering intergenerational bonds in a warm atmosphere.


The event was graced by distinguished former deans, led by Asst. Prof.Dr.Somyot Wattanakamolchai, Vice President for International Affairs, Dr.Jiraporn Kerdchoochuen, Assistant to the President for Academic Affairs and Asst. Prof.Dr.Duangthida Nunthapirat, Dean, Bangkok University International Programs, along with Ajarn Jermsuda Manakul, the current Dean. Retired faculty members and staff who played crucial roles in shaping the faculty's quality over many decades received warm welcomes from current students and alumni, with deep respect and gratitude for their contributions.


Current faculty members from all departments participated enthusiastically in the activities, continuing the spirit of learning and cross-generational bonds, playing vital roles as the main driving force of the faculty in the present era.




The event atmosphere was filled with energy from alumni of various generations who traveled back to reunite, reflecting the enduring strong bonds and pride in being part of the "HTM Family" from past to present.




Throughout the event, there were numerous activities including musical performances by students, BU HTM Family-style games, true fan Q&A sessions from HU to HTM, and the sharing of inspiring memories from former faculty and alumni. The event highlights also included the special menu “Legendary Pork Leg Rice” and participation in raffles for special prizes from partner organizations and awards sponsored by alumni who have grown successful in the business world, such as airline tickets, international tour packages, hotel accommodation vouchers, restaurant vouchers from various hotel chains, and many other prizes.
Additionally, a “Mudita Ceremony” was held to show respect and commemorate the faculty and staff who have contributed to the development of the faculty over the past 44 years.




This event was not only a celebration of an important milestone but also served as a platform for uniting the network of alumni, faculty, and partners to collectively drive sustainable modern education, reflecting the enduring strong bonds and pride in being part of the "HU to HTM" family.
