CDE Communication Arts Partners with Thairath Money to Create Real Challenges in "Data Science for Communication"

The Creative Content and Digital Experience Production (CDE) program, School of Communication Arts, reaffirms its commitment to learning that connects with the real working world by joining forces with "Thairath Money," Thailand's leading financial platform, in an academic collaboration project for course CDE303 Data Science for Communication Arts.

This collaboration represents a significant step in bringing "real challenges from the newsroom" into "the classroom," providing students opportunities to apply Data Science skills for communication in the digital age. This project aligns with the Faculty of Communication Arts' vision to produce graduates who are professional Digital Creators, emphasizing the integration of creative thinking skills with data analysis capabilities. Students learn the complete workflow process, from understanding data sources and in-depth analysis to 'storytelling' with powerful and creative data.

Under this project, Thairath Money presented students with the challenge of producing a Vertical Video (Vertical VDO) not exceeding 3 minutes on the topic "Gen Z Finance," with the important condition that data must be presented using Data Visualization techniques (Graphic Motion) to practice conveying complex content in an easy-to-understand and interesting way. On October 16, the final competition round was held, where judges from Thairath Money evaluated the work of 5 finalist teams and announced the winning team as follows:

The championship team is Team NINE from Section 317A, presenting the work "Gen Z Financial Traps," receiving prize money totaling 10,000 baht from Thairath Money. Team NINE members consist of:
- Mr. Natnarong Mitsamphun
- Mr. Kantipong Sriprasert
- Mr. Teeramet Prakan
- Mr. Supakorn Panya
- Mr. Preecha Nantasena

The success of this project not only provided invaluable experience to students but also reinforced the commitment of the CDE program, Faculty of Communication Arts, Bangkok University, to building partnership networks with leading organizations and producing graduates ready to meet the demands of the current digital media industry while advancing toward the future of Creative Content Creators together.
