The Innovative Media Production program proudly associates with the Embassy of the Netherlands for the prestigious project, "IMI X The Embassy of The Netherlands Short Film and Documentary Contest." Focused on the profound themes of love, acceptance, and resilience within the LGBTQ+ community, this collective effort features our commitment to diversity and innovation in media production.
As part of the IMI331: Short-form and New Media Production course, enrolled students seized a unique opportunity to craft narratives that give voice to the LGBTQ+ community. Their creative endeavors gathered invaluable feedback from distinguished figures, including H.E. Remco van Wijngaarden, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Thailand, Mr. Paul Overdijk, Advisory Board, Workplace Pride Foundation, and Mr.Robert Witlox, Founder and Director of the Foundation Document Our History Now.
The result of this collaboration brings us to a moment of celebration as we announce the top three student works. These outstanding films will be honored and showcased at the annual LGBTQ+ Movie Night at The Embassy of the Netherlands in February 2024.
